Hello Friends and Family,
I am excited to share with you the incredible opportunity that has been placed on my heart. This summer, I will serve on a mission trip to Rwanda, Africa. Thirty years after war in Rwanda, people are still looking for hope. Our team will partner with Rwandan pastors and ministry partners to seek unreached people groups with the Gospel. Each day, we will work with several local believers, including a translator, and go throughout the community, praying for, and sharing Christ with those we meet. We will begin the discipleship process with as many new believers as we can, and our local partners are committed to following up with those who make professions of faith and establishing discipleship groups in those areas.
This trip will be an adventure in faith as God works in and through me in ways I can’t yet imagine. I am excited to be a part of bringing Christ’s love to the people of Rwanda, and I realize I will be blessed abundantly in return. However, as I know God is calling me to serve, I am relying on Him for strength and wisdom as I plan and raise financial support. The biggest blessing that you can provide would be to include our team in your prayers. Please lift our team up in prayer in these specific areas:
o Travel safety, both in the air and on the ground
o Favor with the local communities we serve.
o Wisdom and understanding as we encounter a new culture.
o Opportunities to share the Gospel
