CHAD

Chad is home to hundreds of wildlife species, including elephants, buffalos, and giraffes. Over 150 people groups live within its borders, making it an incredibly diverse country. The economy is largely agricultural, with eight in ten people relying on subsistence farming and the raising of livestock.

In 1990, Chad put an end to nearly three decades of civil war that ravaged its society.  Since then, religious freedom has begun spreading.  However, over 6 million people have still never heard the Gospel.  They come from 72 unreached people groups, making up roughly half of Chad’s population.

e3 Partners is working to ensure that a thriving local church exists in every community throughout Chad. We are equipping existing believers and training local pastors to identify unreached communities and share the Gospel effectively. As people come to faith in Christ, we are establishing small groups that help them take the next steps in their spiritual growth and serve as the seeds for new churches.

All around us are people that the Bible calls “lost” — those living (and dying) far from God. Many of them are in far away places where there are few, if any, followers of Jesus; however, many also live in our local communities. Current research shows that about 2/3 of our friends, family, and neighbors wouldn’t come to church even if invited. Whether near or far, lost people are on God’s heart — and, by God’s grace, we’ve been given a part in His plan to reach them.

We desire that everyone in our community, and beyond, has an authentic invitation to hear about Jesus and become His disciple. In churches, we see believers who have a desire to share about Jesus with others who still need to be equipped and empowered to do so. We believe that people currently far from God can become disciples who will disciple others. Disciples who make disciples, over and over across multiple spiritual generations, is the Biblical solution for our lost world.

That’s why we’re excited about “No Place Left,” a global network we’ve been working with locally since 2021. Inspired by Paul’s words in Romans 15:8-24, we’re trusting God that one day there will literally be no place left in our community, our state, and our world where the name of Jesus hasn’t been heard.
