In 1987 God created a small mission organization of men and women going to new cities, preaching the Gospel and leaving behind new churches. The vision started with a lone pastor from Oklahoma, Mike Downey; God has since brought many faithful, creative, and courageous people who have walked in faith to develop new ministries and strategies for the movement.
The heartbeat of the ministry is serving and equipping U.S. churches for strategic transformational impact. Initially known as Global Missions Fellowship (GMF), the ministry was renamed e3 Partners in 2005. Our focus centers around equipping believers to evangelize their communities in order to establish thriving, multiplying churches. Using e3 teams, tools, training and technology, the lost are being evangelized, believers are growing into disciples, and Churches are being established among every people, everywhere!
In its first 25 years God has used e3 to develop a uniquely simple leadership development model, First Steps, to train pastors and lay leaders in church planting strategies. He also inspired the creation of the EvangeCube®, one of the most transformative evangelical tools used throughout the world. More recently, He breathed life into an idea that became a world-wide outreach movement, I am Second®.
e3 annually mobilizes thousands of Christians for missions expeditions. Over our history God has used e3 Partners to share the Gospel with an estimated 2.2 million people, with over one million professions of faith in Christ, while helping to plant over 8000 new churches. Over 33,000 Americans have been mobilized during over 2000 trips for this work. Over 100,000 nationals have also been equipped and mobilized for these outreaches.
God continues to call men and women to e3 Partners, who, under the leadership of President Curtis Hail, are passionately dedicated to working as hard and as fast as they know how until the whole world hears about Jesus!
