You’re considering going on a cross- cultural Mission trip. Leaving your comfort zone for a place you’ve likely never been before to work alongside people you’ve never met probably represents a giant step of faith for you.

God has given us the awesome task and privilege of taking the Gospel, the “Good News,” to people groups around the world—so they’ll know and be made glad in Him. While personal motivations may vary, the ultimate reason we go is to bring glory to God. He’s glorified when we step out in faith. He’s glorified when the Gospel is preached. He’s glorified when one person anywhere in the world trusts Christ as their Savior. And He’s glorified when new churches are established.

As you prepare for your cross-cultural Mission experience, keep in mind that you’re participating in something God is doing. We live in exciting times, when the Lord is reaping a harvest in every corner of the earth. As we partner with Him in His ministry, He’ll accomplish all He pleases— and He’ll be glorified in you as you trust Him for this.
